"At Eye's Level" - Shifra Levyathan, photography exhibition, Gallery Tova Osman.

Shifra Levyathan sensitively unravels the illusions and reflections in the images she sees while wandering the streets of  Tel-Aviv, New –York or any other cities she visits.

In any city that Shifra and her camera linger in, the click of the shutter, is a flicker almost as fast as the speed of light.

The artist is gifted with an eye that sees and observes. She sees the sights as well as the absurdities that no one stops to reflect upon. They unveil themselves to her as she roams the streets.

Shifra captures and memorizes in a fracture of a second episodes and sensations that are poetical at times. But in lieu of words – the poem is the reality she captures with the eye of the camera. Memorizing this Poem through the eye of the camera is Shifra's art.
