Born in Libya 1947, immigrated to Israel in 1949 Vanda Keren’s concepts of design and styling were developed throughout a thriving career in the hair styling and beauty industry and eventually led her to begin studying sculpture and painting. Vanda Keren has studied sculpture for the last ten years with various Israeli sculptors, such as, Dorit Levenstein and Baruch Saktsier. She is currently studying painting the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
Ms. Keren’s works of sculpture are primarily in bronze. Her work has been described in the following way:
